Empowering Young Readers to Become Confident Leaders

At Readers 2 Leaders Academy (R2LA), we’re more than just a daycare or after-school program—we’re a vibrant learning community that believes in the power of literacy, play, structure, and love. We welcome children of all abilities and backgrounds, and our team is trained to provide individualized support for every child.

Whether your child is just starting to speak or reading full sentences—we meet them where they are and cheer them forward!

Meet our Visionary

Poria Nzoko

I have a degree in social sciences and psychology. Working with children and families is a passion of mine. I have been working with children since I was a child. I started volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club at the age of 14. I started mentoring 8th and 9th graders my senior year of high school. That list only grows. I am a mother of one son. As a mother, I believe that parents should work with their children and encourage all of their interest to keep those minds going and growing. As a mother, I also know that it isn't always easy. The more I had to work, go to school, and study, the less time and energy I had for my very active little one. I dropped some of the load to give that time and energy to my son and all of the children who needs it because they are our future. None of us can do it alone. I work everyday to build a village for our future leaders.
